The Role

The blockchain engineer is one of the key engineering roles in our fast-growing company. You must love blockchain technology from L1 to L2, from infrastructure to security, from research to operation. You will own the blockchain technical stack and all the supporting infrastructure, deployment, monitoring, operation of the blockchain infrastructure. You will have full visibility and input into the blockchain technology, infrastructure, and roadmap.

• Lead the research, design, implementation, deployment, and monitoring of the blockchain client/infrastructure.
• Conduct blockchain technology research and make partner and technology recommendation.
• Own the internal and external technical communication of the blockchain technology.
• Provide first-line engineering support for both internal and external infrastructure partner integration.
• Establish and iterate on best practices for maintaining a secure and modular infrastructure.

• Strong Passion for Blockchain: Demonstrate a deep passion and robust interest in blockchain and cryptocurrency technologies.
• Advanced Blockchain Expertise: Possess extensive knowledge and hands-on experience in the blockchain ecosystem, including but not limited to Layer 1 and Layer 2 technologies, smart contract development and deployment, blockchain bridges, oracles, indexers, decentralized finance (DeFi), and non-fungible tokens (NFTs).
• Educational Background: Hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Experienced in System Development: Bring 3-5 years of experience in low-level system development and managing scalable infrastructure operations.
• Blockchain Development Skills: Have at least 2 years dedicated to blockchain development, with a strong understanding of peer-to-peer networking, consensus algorithms, virtual machines, and storage subsystems. Proficiency in Golang and/or Rust is highly desirable.
• Communication and Problem-Solving: Exhibit exceptional communication skills, an eagerness to learn, and a proactive approach to identifying and solving problems effectively.
