Technical Writer: EVM Chains

As a technical writer for QuickNode focused on EVM based chains you will be working on things like creating instructional guides around software development using EVM based chains like Ethereum, xDAI, or Optimism, helping the engineering team keep up with the latest developments on EVM chains (think London) and creating video explanations of complex concepts for our youtube and social media. You will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our instructional guides which thousands of developers depend on every month. We also expect every engineer to spend at least one day on customer support to understand our customers better. We’re looking for a self-starter, who is collaboration-oriented with a deep sense of ownership and a team mentality to collaborate on achieving the best-in-class instructional guides for the community of developers and companies that trust QuickNode. You can expect to meet on a daily basis to go over task progress. You’ll be working directly with the technical team: Galina Podstechnaya, and Ferhat Kochan.

We need you to have experience in the following:

• Experience with at least one of the following: PHP, Ruby, Python, JavaScript, Java, or Go
• Deep knowledge of the Ethereum JSON-RPC
• Experience running Ethereum nodes or any kind of EVM based chain
• Learning about new concepts in EVM chains
• Creating and deploying smart contracts using Solidity or Vyper
• Explaining how EVM works for developers using a written medium
• Creating and presenting information to a technical audience
• Basic video editing using any software
