Strategic Finance Manager

About the Role

Strategic Finance and FP&A enable Zero Hash to develop and execute on its growth strategy by driving financial insights and accountability. This high visibility position will report into the Senior Director, Finance, and will be the lead strategic finance partner for the Finance and Revenue organizations. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in financial analysis and modeling, deal structure and pricing strategy, and demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally with Sales and Growth, Product, Engineering, Client Services, Legal and Compliance, etc, in order to ensure alignment of revenue strategy with operational factors.

Responsibilities

• Build out streamlined financial models that will pull inputs from key source systems (NetSuite, Databricks, SalesForce), and incorporate multi-dimensional factors such as existing and future products and international geos, pricing and spreads, and behavioral KPI trends
• Be the go-to finance expert and trusted partner for the revenue organization when evaluating deals, pricing and margins, competition, and align with company strategy
• Provide broad financial support for the Finance organization, including preparation of annual and mid-cycle financial plans and reforecasts, development of dashboards, and ad-hoc financial modeling and analysis
• Support Finance automation efforts, including the launch of new systems and tools
• Navigate datasets and build dashboards that enable us to programmatically monitor revenue, complex commercial pricing models, KPI’s, and margin trends
• Develop deeper levels of insights into verticals and products that are driving our growth including effectiveness of our pricing policies, factors that drive sales bookings to revenue conversion, and breakdown of our revenue growth - new customers, expansion of platform usage, upsell, and pricing

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, or a related field. MBA / CFA as a plus.
• Minimum 7-10 years of experience in corporate finance, strategic finance, sales/revenue operations, or a related function
• Minimum 7-years experience in financial services, including banking, payments, broker/dealer, investment management, and/or FinTech. Experience in Web3/Crypto is a plus
• Proficiency with financial/operational systems and tools, such as Salesforce, Looker, Databricks, NetSuite, Cube, etc.
• Excellent financial modeler with clear ability to incorporate drivers, KPI’s, and dynamic assumptions and inputs
• Ability to operate within ambiguous conditions and build out new processes with effective models and documents to support decision making
• Should have a basic understanding of GAAP accounting principles
• Demonstrated ability to effectively document and articulate business issues in a timely manner and consistently follow up to completion
• Ability to implement efficiencies on recurring tasks, including the adoption of the latest tools and technologies
• Excellent organizational and prioritization skills
