What We Do

The Ecosystem Engineering team is a horizontal team of strategically deployed engineers that live at the intersection of business, technology, and innovation in the Solana ecosystem. We support teams small and large by providing technical guidance, architecture review, and maximize our leverage by driving adoption of technical public goods through code and coordination.

The Opportunity

We’re looking for a solutions architect / lead to drive repeatable, effective processes to solve the world’s hardest problem: how can blockchain dramatically affect your product and business. This role is targeted at helping companies large and small get from devnet to mainnet-beta quickly and safely with highly repeatable and potentially automatable processes.

To be successful in this role

You will be:

• Communicating with external clients to help them realize the technical improvements that can be made when building on Solana

• Interfacing with developers: you will be collaborating directly with developers building on Solana to provide architecture review, collect their feedback, and inform them on protocol development

• Supporting ecosystem teams and prospective builders: you will be the technical point-of-contact for product teams in the Solana ecosystem

You ideally have:

• 3-5 years working as a solutions engineer at a company operating at scale

• Deep understanding of customer success patterns and the ability to communicate clearly and succinctly

• Extensive experience designing repeatable (and automatable) processes for getting lots of things done, quickly

• A deep interest in the impact of blockchain technologies

Bonus points:

• Have operated (or currently operate) a validator / miner for any blockchain

• Experience working with the Solana protocol

• Experience contributing to open-source projects

• An entrepreneurial spirit and appetite to problem-solve
