Solana Guru

Role Overview:

RockawayX Infra s.r.o. is looking for a Solana Guru to join our team, focusing on the development and perfomance tuning of blockchain solutions within the Solana ecosystem. In this role, you will act as a subject matter expert and a participant for our projects by leveraging your deep knowledge of Solana's architecture, ecosystem and best practices.

As the Solana Guru, you will work closely with our RPC product developers, product managers, and clients to create and implement high-performance decentralized blockchain access platform. Your expertise will be crucial in guiding technical decisions, optimizing performance, and helping the team navigate the intricacies of building on Solana.

What you'll do:

-       Provide expert-level knowledge and guidance on Solana blockchain technology and its ecosystem.

-       Design and develop decentralized solutions on the Solana platform, focusing on scalability and efficiency.

-       Collaborate with developers to optimize development solutions and on-chain solutions for performance.

-       Stay updated on Solana’s updates, technical enhancements, and community developments to ensure the team follows best practices.

-       Conduct workshops, mentoring sessions, and training for team members to enhance their understanding of Solana.

-       Contribute to the documentation and knowledge sharing within the team.

Must-have

-       Extensive experience working with the Solana blockchain and its architecture.

-       Strong understanding of token standards, on-chain operations, and DeFi protocols on Solana.

-       Familiarity with the Solana development ecosystem, including toolsets, relevant frameworks.

-     Strong SRE (Site Reliability Engineering) or infrastructure operations background — someone who can manage servers, automate workflows, and troubleshoot performance issues.

-       Solid understanding of hardware, networking, and system administration (Linux, storage, monitoring, upgrades).

-       Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly.

-       Strong desire to learn and stay up to date with evolving technologies in the blockchain space.

Nice-to-have

-       Ability to read a code (Rust, Bash, Javascript or other)

-       Experience with other blockchain technologies and frameworks (e.g., Ethereum).

-       Involvement in open-source projects or community contributions related to Solana or blockchain tech.

-       Understanding of DeFi ecosystem.
