Job Description

The Financial Services Team in TIDAL was formed in early 2022 with the purpose of building next generation products for listeners and artists alike. It consists of three teams: User Management, Payments, and Settlements. The team consists of BE engineers, full stack developers and product owners - in addition to tech/team leads. As we are growing out artist focus we are scaling up our teams to support the mission of providing artists with financial empowerment - if trough payment expertise, user management flows, data flow and reporting, royalties to artists and labels, signup and login, working with our partners or building entirely new areas you will have a large impact and huge opportunities to shape the future of our products build for the future. We are looking for Java engineers that take ownership as we are involved in most of TIDALs products and features and work tightly with several team members in TIDAL; both technical and business/operational teams. As an engineer in TIDAL you need to appreciate close and collaborative work with many other TIDAL teams. You prefer designing a solution in collaboration with partners before starting code and excel in technical discussions. You're happy to collaborate with teammates and present ideas to aim for the highest quality. You want and like to work as a team with friendly colleagues rather than alone. You will work with the immediate team, tech lead, PO, QA, and other teams inside TIDAL to build new products and services for artists and listeners and report to the team lead.

You Will:

  • Have experience with cloud service providers (e.g. AWS, Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure)
  • Have experience Fintech and financial data flows.
  • Are proficient in Java
  • Have experience in designing and building scalable, reliable, and maintainable systems.
  • Are happy to collaborate with teammates and present ideas to aim for the highest quality
  • You improve discussions by presenting ideas and designs to the team

Qualifications

You Have: 3+ years of experience designing and shipping scalable, reliable and maintainable systems Required Skills:
  • Java frameworks
  • Spring Boot
  • AWS, Terraform, Docker
Preferred Skills:
  • CICD: Jenkins, Spinnaker
  • DataDog, Databricks
Collaborative skills
  • Ability to work with other Product and Engineering functions
  • Able to work with a high degree of autonomy, be proactive
