Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) [Closed]

The Opportunity

Mento Labs is seeking a skilled Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to join our team of talented engineers and help us ensure the quality and reliability of our stablecoin and digital asset solutions. As an SDET, you will play a crucial role in enhancing our QA processes by developing and executing comprehensive test plans, as well as implementing automated testing solutions where possible. We are looking for a detail-oriented individual with a passion for quality and a strong background in both software development and testing. Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Collaborate with the development team to understand project requirements and create comprehensive test plans for new and existing applications.
• Execute manual testing of applications, including functional, integration, and end-to-end testing.
• Identify, document, and report software defects and work with the development team to ensure their timely resolution.
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using frameworks such as Dappeteer, or Synpress to increase test coverage and efficiency.
• Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline to ensure that code changes do not introduce new defects.
• Analyze test results and provide detailed reports on software quality and performance.
• Collaborate with the development team to ensure that testing is incorporated throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to improve the overall quality of the codebase.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest testing methodologies, tools, and best practices, and propose improvements to our testing processes.
• Contribute to the creation and maintenance of testing documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test reports.

What You Bring

• 3+ years of experience as a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) or a similar role.
• Strong programming skills in languages such as Typescript, Go, or C#.
• Experience with Javascript testing frameworks such as Jest, Mocha, or Jasmine.
• Experience with frontend development technologies
• Experience with front end automation tools such as Puppeteer or Cypress
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and experience working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of testing techniques, including unit testing, integration testing, and end-to-end testing.
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and experience with tools like GitHub Actions.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a keen eye for detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Bonus: Experience with blockchain technologies, smart contracts, and web3 ecosystem.
