Premia offers first of its kind automated market maker solutions in the DeFi space for Options Contracts through our use of Smart Liquidity Pools and Dynamic Pricing. Premia enables best-in-class pricing based on market volatility, providing fully-featured peer-to-pool trading and capital efficiency to DeFi options. We are one of the smallest and most impactful teams in crypto. We are a globally distributed organisation, with all positions being fully remote. We are looking for an experienced smart contract engineer to help us build the future of the Premia Protocol. You will be responsible for implementing and designing smart contracts for EVM compatible chains. Extra credit if you are also comfortable in web3 frontend and middleware engineering.

Initial responsibilities:

·        Responsible for smart contracts development, security/audit, deployments, upgrades, tests, and management for the Premia ecosystem ·        Working with external auditors to conduct comprehensive reviews of contracts and changes ·        Implement and design periphery contracts and mechanisms ·        Making security a top priority and carefully analyzing code changes for potential vulnerabilities ·        Partner with research team to find optimal solutions to new and innovative problems

Requirements:

·        2+ years of experience building and releasing production grade Solidity contracts ·        A complex understanding of the Ethereum Virtual Machine and EVM compatible chains (constraints/memory/stack) ·        Prior experience deploying/managing/upgrading interactive smart contract infrastructures to the Ethereum mainnet ·        Basic knowledge of solidity security testing tools (eg: Truffle, Slither, Echidna, Mithril, etc…)

Nice to haves

·        Degree in math or computer science ·        Experience implementing complex math in Solidity ·        Experience implementing upgradeable contracts in Solidity ·        Experience with React, Redux and other web3 frontend technologies ·        Familiar with the Premia Ecosystem of smart contracts and products ·        Financial instrument understanding including derivatives
