We are looking for a Software Architect with deep AdTech domain expertise and hands-on experience in designing, developing, and deploying scalable SaaS products on AWS infrastructure. In this role, you will define the technical vision and architecture for high-performance systems that power programmatic advertising, data processing, and real-time bidding at scale. You’ll ensure that architectural decisions align with product goals, business requirements, and long-term technical sustainability, utilizing AWS services to achieve scalability, reliability, and cost efficiency. 

Working closely with cross-functional engineering and product teams, you will design end-to-end solutions that support advanced targeting, campaign optimization, and analytics. This is an opportunity to shape the evolution of a high-load AdTech platform, ensuring performance, innovation, and seamless cloud integration across a globally distributed environment.

Our Customer is a Swedish AdTech company that transforms the way publishers and advertisers interact. They provide state-of-the-art self-serve advertising platforms that enable seamless, direct transactions between advertisers and some of the world’s largest publishers. Their mission is to make advertising more accessible, automated, and efficient through innovative technology. Together we serve globally recognized clients such as TripAdvisor, Bloomberg, The Washington Post, Opera, Dow Jones, etc.  

PROJECT

The project is a scalable white-label ad platform used by major global publishers. 

Job Description

• Lead the technology strategy and roadmap in alignment with business objectives 
• Oversee the design, development, and deployment of scalable SaaS products 
• Architect and manage cloud infrastructure on AWS, ensuring high availability, security, and cost efficiency 
• Drive innovation in AdTech solutions, including programmatic advertising, data management platforms, and analytics 
• Build and mentor a high-performing engineering team 
• Collaborate closely with Product, Marketing, and Sales teams to deliver impactful solutions 
• Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and industry standards 
• Evaluate and implement emerging technologies to maintain the competitive advantage 

Qualifications

• Proven track record as a Software Architect or CTO, with experience in a leadership or strategic technical role 
• Strong background in designing, building, and scaling SaaS platforms 
• Deep expertise in AWS cloud architecture and related services 
• Hands-on experience in AdTech, including programmatic advertising, DSPs, SSPs, and data-driven targeting 
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills 
• Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities 
• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field 
• At least an Upper-Intermediate level of English 

Would be a plus: 

• Familiarity with microservices architecture and DevOps practices 
• Knowledge of data privacy laws such as GDPR and CCPA
