We are looking for a Node.js Developer to join our AdTech team and contribute to the development of a high-load, globally distributed advertising platform. In this role, you will design and implement scalable Node.js microservices that power real-time integrations with ad servers, CRMs, and payment providers. A particular focus will be placed on identity and access management and security to ensure robust authentication, authorization, and data protection across the platform. 

You will work in a dynamic environment where milliseconds matter, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver advanced self-serve advertising tools, including ad forecasting, automated proposals, campaign management, and sophisticated targeting features. This is a unique opportunity to directly impact the evolution of an AdTech solution that enables publishers to maximize inventory value and gives advertisers secure, transparent access to digital campaigns on a global scale.

Our Customer is a Swedish AdTech company that transforms the way publishers and advertisers interact. They provide state-of-the-art, self-serve advertising platforms that enable seamless, direct transactions between advertisers and some of the world’s largest publishers. Their mission is to make advertising more accessible, automated, and efficient through innovative technology. Together, we serve globally recognized clients such as TripAdvisor, Bloomberg, The Washington Post, Opera, Dow Jones, etc.. 

PROJECT

The project is a scalable white-label ad platform used by major global publishers. 

Job Description

• Design and develop Node.js microservices to support high-load AdTech workflows 
• Implement and maintain security best practices, including IAM, RBAC, OAuth2, and related standards 
• Integrate external APIs, data pipelines, and payment systems into the platform 
• Optimize Back-end services for performance, scalability, and reliability 
• Collaborate closely with Front-end, BI, and AI/ML teams to deliver end-to-end solutions 

Qualifications

• At least 4 years of hands-on experience with Node.js 
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript 
• Hands-on experience building REST/GraphQL APIs 
• Solid background working with both SQL and NoSQL databases 
• Understanding of microservices architecture, distributed systems, and cloud platforms (AWS preferred) 
• Strong knowledge of security principles, including authentication, authorization, and data privacy 
• At least an Upper-Intermediate level of English 

Would be a plus: 

• Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) 
• Background in the AdTech domain or other high-load system environments 
• Familiarity with data processing tools such as Kafka or Spark 
• Experience with Vue.js
