Senior UX Writer

We are a blockchain-powered platform where players compete in digital and physical games, submit PvP results, join tournaments, form teams, and rank up on public leaderboards — earning MGC tokens along the way. 

As we scale globally and launch our mobile apps, clear, human-centered UX writing becomes mission-critical. Whether explaining match result logic, onboarding users to Web3 wallets, or guiding tournament creation — our product content must build trust, clarity, and motivation. 

Role Overview 

We’re looking for a Senior UX Writer who can craft copy that guides, empowers, and inspires users across web and mobile. You’ll own the voice of the product and work across key product verticals — including onboarding, PvP flows, tournament creation, staking, rewards, and team dynamics. 

You’ll collaborate with product designers, PMs, and engineers to ship copy that’s clear, concise, consistent, and emotionally resonant — especially for new Web3 users unfamiliar with tokens, wallets, or smart contracts. 

Key Responsibilities 

Product Copywriting & UX Content 

• Write clear, conversational, and actionable product copy across mobile and web interfaces. 

• Own copy for both digital and physical game journeys. 

User Research & Voice of the Player 

• Conduct or support user testing for content clarity and tone. 

• Craft copy variations for different personas: casual players, pro gamers, organizers, or crypto newcomers. 

• Help define and evolve our product voice and tone, adapting it across features and contexts. 

Content Systems & Collaboration 

• Create and maintain our UX writing guidelines, glossary, and tone framework. 

• Collaborate closely with product designers and PMs to align copy with design intent and user goals. 

• Work with legal, support, and token teams to ensure content is compliant and understandable. 

AI-Powered Content Ops 

• Use AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Notion AI, GrammarlyGO, Writer.com) to brainstorm, test, localize, and iterate on product copy. 

• Accelerate content testing, prototyping, and batch writing with prompt engineering skills. 

Required Skills & Qualifications 

• 5+ years of experience in UX writing, content design, or product copywriting, with 2+ years in a senior role. 

• Native-level or fluent English writing skills — grammar, nuance, clarity, and emotional tone are second nature. 

• Experience writing UX content for mobile-first platforms or consumer-facing apps. 

• Ability to simplify complex topics (e.g., Web3 concepts) for first-time users. 

• Skilled in using design tools (e.g., Figma, Notion) to review and place content in context. 

• Strong cross-functional communication and stakeholder collaboration. 

• Ownership mindset and ability to work independently in fast-paced teams. 

Bonus Skills 

• Experience in blockchain/Web3, token-based products, or crypto wallets. 

• Passion for gaming or esports, especially as a player or platform user. 

• Familiarity with A/B testing, data-informed content decisions, or UX research. 

• Exposure to localization, content design systems, or multi-language platforms. 

• Understanding of behavioral design, motivation, and gamification. 

AI & Prompt Engineering 

• Proven experience using AI tools and prompt engineering to improve writing workflows — including content ideation, consistency checks, and speed. 

• Ability to use AI not as a copy-paster, but as a content design co-pilot, accelerating delivery while maintaining a strong human voice.
