Opportunity:

You are an early member on our team, you’ll have a large say over our existing suite of products, and be able to influence the creation, design, and execution of future products. You should have a relentlessly high-quality bar for your own code, as well as the code of your team members. Critical to this role will be your ability to develop your peers and incorporate best practices. As a fast-growing startup existing in a 24/7 industry, we rely on our team members to take initiative. We are looking for someone who is an independent but collaborative worker that can adapt quickly to changing priorities, wear multiple hats, and proactively assist with solutions. You should also be open to the occasional travel for events and company off-sites – in true crypto spirit, we also enjoy to vibe together.

Responsibilities:

1. Design, code, test and deploy smart contract
2. Review code written by other team members
3. Collaborate with auditors to ensure code quality standards and security
4. Work closely with Engineering, Research, and Product areas to ship a consistent experience to our community
5. Write scripts to automate monitoring and tracking to maintain the overall network health.
6. Engage our community by sharing our design decisions and document how the protocol works.

Desired Skills:

1. 2+ years of experience with Solidity
2. Understanding of the Ethereum Virtual Machine, gas optimization tradeoffs, and security best practices
3. Deployed real smart contracts that have seen public use (in TVL, middleware, governance) in Ethereum Mainnet
4. Experience with a scripting language for test automation and monitoring, preferably Javascript / Typescript
5. Has deployed a subgraph before and understands what a subgraph is
6. Experience with Ethers.js and GraphQL
7. Attention to detail
8. Have a collaborative, problem-solving attitude and be willing to help other team members

Nice to Haves:

1. Have used security testing tools like MythX, Slither, Echidna, Mythril
2. Know how to use monitoring tools like Tenderly
3. Interested in Ethereum research - L2’s, ETH 2, EIPs
4. Experience working with multisig setup
