Senior Software Test Engineer

Responsibilties

• As a Senior SDET, you will be responsible for ensuring the availability and reliability of our platform by implementing automated tests that run 24/7.
• You will work closely with our development team to design and implement test frameworks that align with our business goals and objectives, and establish standards and metrics for evaluating the performance of our platform.
• Write functional, integration, performance and regression test plans.
• Create and maintain the Automation Framework and execute the Automation suite on daily basis and publish the results to all the stakeholders
• Debug and report test failures, help identify root cause of failures whenever possible while performing highly complex analysis, which would generally include multiple distributed components.
• Set cross-functional product testing standards.
• Perform system performance monitoring of both Test and Production platforms/environments
• Ensure all test results are properly documented, and capture all relevant information.
• Provide daily and release-based reports that detail the results of test execution, defects found, and issues encountered with scripts
• Support the bi-weekly software development release cycle, ensuring proper testing is completed on new releases in a timely and accurate manner

Requirements

• To be successful in this role, you must have expert level proficiency with Java/JavaScript, Postman, Newman, npm, Selenium, SQL, and be experienced in integrating tests into CI/CD frameworks and pipelines.
• You must also be familiar with structured application development and change control methodologies, and have a strong understanding of blockchain technology and its applications.
• Minimum of 4+ years with hands-on development of Automated Tests and Frameworks focused on APIs
• Expert level experience in setting up test automation frameworks and establishing standards and metrics.
• Experience with structured application development and change control methodologies.
• Experience integrating tests into CI/CD frameworks and pipelines.
• Strong understanding of blockchain technology and its applications.
• Sense of ownership, passion to build, support and maintain quality products for massive scale in collaborative, agile environment and excitement to learn.
• Bonus: Experience with GraphQL
• Bonus: Experience with Ethereum EVM technologies
