Senior Software Engineer, Wallet Integration

Babylon's mission is to bring Bitcoin’s unparalleled security to the decentralized world via a new public Cosmos-SDK PoS blockchain (Babylon) and a suite of inter-chain protocols.

We are looking for an experienced software engineer to integrate Babylon features such as Bitcoin staking to various types of wallets, including hardware, browser extension, desktop, and mobile wallets. Your main responsibilities include:

• Study wallet vendor’s tech stack and design integration solutions

• Develop and maintain multi-language libraries and SDKs with documentations for wallet integration

• Collaborate with BD/partnership team and provide technical support to wallet vendors

About You:

You are a senior software engineer with extensive experience in hardware and software wallet development and integration. You are an expert of Bitcoin script and Bitcoin wallet development with knowledge of:

• Hierarchical deterministic wallets

• Standard Bitcoin address types and how they are derived in context of HD wallets

• Bitcoin cryptography - types of signatures used in Bitcoin, encoding of private/public keys

• Basic knowledge of Bitcoin script and Tapscript

Requirements:

• 3+ years of crypto wallet development and/or integration experience

• 1+ years of experience with Bitcoin wallet development

• 1+ years of experience with Cosmos SDK wallet development

• Proficient in JS/TS and at least one low-level language (C, Golang, Rust)

• Familiar with infra deployment tools such as K8 and Docker

• Excellent written English and fluent oral English

• Experience in both software and hardware wallet development
