What the role involves:

As a Senior Mobile Software Engineer, you’ll join the innovative Lace team at XSY. Reporting to the Head of Engineering for Lace, this role is pivotal in transitioning our focus from a browser extension-based wallet to mobile platforms while maintaining a unified ReactJS-based codebase. As part of a leading blockchain company, you’ll contribute to high-growth initiatives that blend cutting-edge technology with dynamic team collaboration, shaping the mobile strategy that underpins our decentralized applications.

• Lead the development and optimization of our Lace wallet for iOS and Android, ensuring feature parity and seamless user experience across all platforms.
• Maintain and enhance a single codebase using ReactJS, facilitating the deployment across Windows, MacOS, Linux, and mobile platforms.
• Implement robust mobile testing frameworks and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to ensure the reliability and scalability of applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop mobile-specific features and integrations.
• Utilize wrapper technologies for cross-platform functionality, ensuring high performance and responsiveness.
• Stay abreast of the latest industry trends in mobile development and integrate innovative technologies that enhance user engagement and retention.
• Mentor junior developers and lead by example in coding, testing, and process development to foster a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.

Who you are:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• At least 5+ years of experience in mobile software development with a strong portfolio of released applications on both Android and iOS platforms.
• Proficient in cross-platform development environments including ReactJS, React Native, HTML5, Node.js and modern JavaScript frameworks.
• Extensive experience with mobile development testing, CI/CD practices, and mobile analytics.
• Demonstrated ability in using wrapper technologies such as Flutter and Electron to maintain a unified codebase across multiple platforms.
• Strong understanding of the full mobile development life cycle, from concept to deployment and support.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to tackle challenges in innovative ways and deliver solutions that enhance user satisfaction.
• Effective communication and leadership skills, capable of motivating and guiding a team towards achieving technological and business goals.

• Prior experience in a blockchain or fintech environment, Cardano preferred.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity standards and protocols relevant to mobile and digital wallet technologies.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and tools like JIRA or Confluence.
• Proven track record of working in a high-growth tech startup or a dynamic product-focused company.
