Senior Software Engineer, Full-Stack

Ord.io is building the all-in-one platform for Web3 on Bitcoin. Our product offers a seamless, unified experience for exploring and trading Bitcoin memecoins and NFTs, tracking portfolios, and socializing in token-gated group chats. By prioritizing user safety and ease of use, we have gained significant traction and raised a $2M pre-seed round in April 2024. We are a fully remote team.

Responsibilities

• Own user-facing features on our platform
• Lead initiatives to launch new products and infrastructure
• Maintain and improve existing systems
• Strengthen and evolve our culture of engineering excellence
• Interface directly with users and help shape the product direction

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
• 5+ years full-time software engineering experience
• Proficient with Next.js, Node.js, MySQL, Redis, React, TypeScript, RESTful APIs, AWS, CI/CD
• Strong experience building and owning high-availability, scalable, secure, low-latency systems
• Self-starter who proactively takes initiative without waiting for direction and can jump in and start providing value on day one
• Nice to Have: Experience with Bitcoin and crypto
