For one of our clients, we are looking for a Senior Software Engineer, AvaCloud, remotely from North America.

As a Senior Software Engineer on the AvaCloud team, you will be responsible for developing and delivering distributed, scalable backend systems that support the launch and growth of Web3 applications. You will collaborate with both infrastructure and frontend teams to build cloud-based applications and APIs for multi-tenant services. This role offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge blockchain technology, contributing to the development of Web3 solutions on the Avalanche platform.

Accountabilities:

• Design and develop scalable, high-performance backend systems for Web3 applications on an Avalanche Subnet.
• Collaborate with the infrastructure team to deploy cloud applications and services in a multi-tenant environment.
• Partner with frontend developers to build new web applications from the ground up.
• Work closely with product teams to implement new features and integrate blockchain applications such as Avalanche Explorer and Core Wallets.
• Build and maintain distributed, scalable APIs to support AvaCloud.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 5+ years of general backend development experience.
• 3+ years of experience building large-scale enterprise systems.
• Proficiency with Golang and experience with Typescript/Node.js is a plus.
• Strong experience with AWS Cloud services (DynamoDB, KMS, SQS, Lambda, etc.).
• Proven ability to deliver and scale B2B software solutions.
• Passion for blockchain technology/Web3 and keeping up with the latest industry developments.
