Concordium is looking for software developers to join our core blockchain development team. Our core blockchain development team works in close cooperation with leading scientists and researchers to implement the next-generation open and permissionless blockchain protocols. The work will cover all aspects of the blockchain technology (including implementation of a smart contract language, cryptographic primitives and protocols, networking, consensus protocol, databases) using technologies such as Haskell and Rust. It is an advantage if you have experience with one of these or similar technologies and languages.
Key responsibilities
Participating in development and maintenance on core blockchain team including
Concordium node implementation
Tools and libraries supporting the node
Working with our scientists on new and updated protocols
Working with our Technical writer on developer documentation for the node, tools and libraries
The chance to suggest and promote improvements as part of the development process
Qualifications
- Our preferred candidate has some of the following professional and personal qualifications:
- Working knowledge of Haskell and Rust or similar languages
- Working knowledge of using Cryptographic primitives in protocol
- A good understanding of programming languages and compiler tooling
- Experience with network protocols
- Understanding of distributed computing
- Team working using agile methodologies
- Project and task oriented with focus on project outcome

Education
- We are looking for developers with a master’s degree or PhD in computer science or a related area.
We can offer a challenging job in an international environment with highly educated and skilled colleagues. Being part of the development team, you will be involved in all phases of the development life-cycle. While the Tech team is placed in Aarhus in Denmark, it will be possible to work remotely from within the same time zone (+/- 1 hour). You will be expected to take part in regular meetings at our offices in Aarhus.
