Are you a Senior Software Developer interested in building a new product from the ground up to create a highly scalable microservices platform with mobile first applications? In this role you will have a hand in leading the design and development of our next generation cloud-based retail platform, Aptos One. As part of specialized group of senior engineers, you will be collaborating on the design and development of the overall platform. As a Senior Software Developer on the team, you will be influencing the direction of this platform. You’ll be using your expertise in the most current tech stack including Typescript and React Native with containerized microservices architecture using Nodejs.  Come join us at Aptos!

You will be working on our newest product offering Aptos ONE; a cloud-native, mobile-first, and unified commerce services platform. This will enable retailers to respond to changing market demands across all customer touchpoints. 

Are you the person we’re looking for?

To be successful in this role you will need demonstrated experience in the following:

• 4+ years’ experience designing and delivering mobile applications with React Native, Typescript and Nodejs backend microservices architecture
• 4+ years’ experience in Nodejs for backend development
• Experience developing React or React Native for mobile applications 
• Preferred experience with Kotlin and Swift
• Experience with NoSQL databases and containerization technologies
• Experience in an AWS cloud environment
• Delivering in Agile / Scrum environments
• Acting in a technical lead role; collaborating on design and influencing technical direction of application
• Any background in retail, high-end transactional systems, eCommerce, point of sale (POS) or with payment, trading or banking solutions would be highly preferred
