Why this role matters

Crypto Finance Group, part of Deutsche Börse Group, is building the next generation of institutional digital-asset infrastructure. As we expand beyond pure digital assets custody, we need a Senior Product Manager to lead the implementation of custody and settlement adding-value services—introducing innovations such as permissioned DeFi yield generation or Google Cloud Universal Ledger currency operator capabilities. This role is pivotal in shaping products that meet regulatory standards, client needs, and market opportunities, ensuring Crypto Finance Group remains at the forefront of digital finance. You will work with autonomy and ownership in a highly collaborative environment at Prime Tower, Zurich, combining start-up agility with the backing of Deutsche Börse Group. Responsibilities

• Own the product roadmap for specific custody & settlement projects: Define, prioritize, and deliver new features and services (e.g., permissioned DeFi, GCUL currency operator) aligned with strategic goals and client requirements.
• Translate vision into actionable outcomes: Develop business cases, define product specifications, and oversee implementation from concept through launch and post-release optimization.
• Champion client-centric innovation: Engage with institutional clients and partners to understand needs, validate solutions, and ensure adoption.
• Collaborate across ecosystems: Work closely with engineering, operations, compliance, and external partners to deliver secure, scalable, and regulatory-compliant products.
• Monitor market and regulatory trends: Anticipate changes in digital-asset custody and settlement, ensuring our products remain competitive and compliant.

• 7+ years in product management within financial services, fintech, or market infrastructure.
• Proven ability to deliver complex products in regulated environments.
• Strong commercial acumen—turning client needs into business value.
• Ability to simplify complexity and drive clarity across diverse stakeholders.
• Excellent communication skills; comfortable engaging at C-level and with technical teams.
• Can-do attitude and high degree of flexibility in coping with constantly changing requirements and priorities.
• Nimbleness in swapping between high-level and detailed views
• Experience with digital-asset custody, blockchain, or DeFi ecosystems, and familiarity with ISO 20022, SWIFT, or custody standards
• Background in financial-market infrastructures or exchanges; knowledge of crypto trading or settlement workflows is a plus
• Proficient in English.
