Senior Product Designer (FinTech / contract, temp-to-perm)

My client is an early stage startup in the asset tokenization sector, leveraging blockchain technology to transform how real-world assets are managed and invested. Their mission is to create a secure, efficient, and transparent ecosystem for asset tokenization, offering additional yield-earning opportunities for investors.

Role Overview:

I am seeking a dynamic and hands-on Senior Product Designer to join my client’s team. This is a hands-on design role with a strong focus on pixel-perfect UI designs, rather than a leadership position. The team consists of 15 employees overall (including a team of 10 developers). The design team currently only includes the Lead Designer, who now needs support. You will be responsible for designing a high-quality financial product in the asset tokenization space. This is a freelance/contract role with the potential to transition into a permanent position. While the company is based in the UK, you can be based anywhere in Europe, with a preference for candidates in Germany or the UK.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Leading the design process from conception to implementation, focusing on UX/UI design and product functionality (with a stronger focus on UI-Design)
• Ensuring that the developed products meet user needs while aligning with business requirements.
• Collaborating closely with the Design Lead and the product development team to identify and implement innovative solutions that fully leverage the potential of blockchain technology.
• Continuously iterating and optimizing products based on user feedback and industry insights.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a product designer in the Web3 and Fintech space, with a focus on trading apps, banking apps, wallets, and asset management platforms.
• Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Adobe XD, or Figma.
• Strong emphasis on UI design, specifically delivering pixel-perfect UI designs.
• Ability to solve complex problems and develop innovative design solutions.
• Experience working in agile development teams and understanding agile methodologies.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively communicate design decisions and influence stakeholders.
• 4–5 years of experience in the Web3 and Fintech industry.
