ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a full time Senior Producer & Editor who will work with the Podcasts & Audio team. The ideal candidate has experience developing radio or podcast FALSE concepts, working with and honing talent. This individual has experience working on a daily podcast and owning the production/editing process. The ideal candidate has high standards and is a skilled, fast, meticulous audio editor experienced with both multi-track and linear edit modes. The ideal candidate is an experienced sound designer who has experience creating subtle yet powerful audio “sparkle” to documentary style productions. The ideal candidate is experienced in social media for audio and has experience working with ad-scripts and being an integral link with advertising operations. The role requires strong journalistic writing skills and experience with FALSE notes for podcasts. The Senior Podcast Producer & Editor should be ambitious, collaborative, hard-working and ready to roll up their sleeves as the CoinDesk Podcast Network experiences rapid growth. The candidate has a “bring it everyday,” “team-first” and “willing to say yes” attitude to help out with anything the department may need.    

ABOUT YOU

• 8-10 Years experience in content development, production and editing for podcasts, radio or audio content
• A portfolio that demonstrates an ear for compelling and impactful storytelling 
• Strong editorial judgment in the Crypto/Web3 space
• Superior proficiency in audio production and editing in Adobe Audition
• Experience coaching and developing talent 
• Must have strong writing skills and experience in writing FALSE notes for podcasts
• Detail oriented and functions well under deadline pressure
• Exceptional communication, interpersonal and collaboration skills
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• A passion for Podcasting and a passion for understanding the future of money and technology
• You have worked on a daily podcast and understand everything that needs to be done in a timely manner
• Experience with producing and editing advertising spots
• Proficiency working with content management systems (ie. Arc, WordPress) and internal communication tools (ie. Slack) 
• Regularly use data and analytics to better understand and make editorial decisions about production, content and reaching CoinDesk’s podcasts audience
• You have worked with live events and able to contribute to programming and execution at Consensus, CoinDesk’s annual conference bringing together the crypto, blockchain and Web3 community

    The base salary range for this role is $90,000 - $110,000. This range is not inclusive of any potential bonus amounts. Factors that may impact the agreed upon base salary for a particular candidate include years of experience, skill set, and other external factors.
