Senior Marketing Manager

Babylon's mission is to bring Bitcoin’s unparalleled security to the decentralized world via a new public Cosmos-SDK PoS blockchain (Babylon) and a suite of inter-chain protocols.

We're hiring for a Senior Marketing Manager to work with the CMO, strategy team & content lead to create a compelling story/narrative around Babylon’s vision. You will be working on a variety of impactful projects including:

• Content: Create a content pipeline in alignment with content lead, ensuring coverage of partnerships, product launches, etc. within the Babylon ecosystem, maintaining momentum and supporting our builders and partners

• Operations: Manage the marketing budget together with strategy and operations

• Events: Collaborate closely with the CMO and the Business Development/ Growth teams to ensure that each event is in sync with our business goals.

  • Manage all aspects of event planning and execution, including coordination of sponsorships, speaking engagements, public relations, and promotional materials.

  • Partner with our Designer to develop effective marketing materials tailored for each event, such as infographics, pitch decks, banners, and branded merchandise.

• Campaigns: Coordinate campaigns across marketing, BD and developer teams to ensure project alignment with company goal, prioritization and timely execution

• Social media marketing: Manage social media strategy and execution, with Babylon social media specialist, who will report to you. 

• Data-Driven marketing: Develop and use performance metrics to assess the impact of marketing efforts, guiding decisions for optimizing campaigns and maximizing ROI.

• Stay up to date with market trends, community feedback, and competitors’ activities, and incorporate these into the marketing strategy

Requirements:

• 4+ years in a senior marketing role, ideally within the Web3 industry

• Proven ability to develop and execute marketing strategies

• Analytical and data-driven approach to building and nurturing technical communities

• Firm grasp of all aspects of Web3 marketing

• Excellent understanding of go-to-market strategies for a blockchain project

• Comfortable prioritizing in a fast-changing environment

• Strong interest in the emerging web3 space or an active user yourself

• Excellent English communication skills

• Experience working in a fast-growing early-stage marketing team

• Nice to have: in-depth understanding of the Bitcoin and PoS communities
