Senior Golang Engineer - Authentication

Responsibilities

As one of the leading teams in the Cosmos ecosystem, Regen Network is piloting a project which aims at providing a secure and user-friendly Cosmos-native authentication system for client-side key management and fee delegation. In this role, you will:

• Contribute to all stages in the development and delivery of critical elements of the cryptographic system underpinning this project
• Engage in discussions around end-user blockchain UX solutions
• Build out an OAuth 2.0-based identity provider and client side SDK to integrate with a wide variety of existing software, especially in the IoT and agriculture monitoring space
• Verify and test the cryptographic principles used within other Regen projects (including Regen Ledger and the Cosmos SDK)
• Identify and develop research into future applications for cryptography and cryptographic systems on Regen Network
• Deliver high-quality technical analysis, reports, and presentations to engineering and leadership teams

Requirements

• You should have experience working with Go in production. Ideally you also have some experience with JavaScript for building an SDK for client integration.
• Proven experience of working in a security role, focused on implementing and testing cryptographic systems (hash, asymmetric and symmetric cryptography...) to secure real-time computing, high availability networks or communication systems
• Experience with cryptographic hardware, such as HSMs, TPMs/TEEs and secure enclaves is a plus
• You enjoy analyzing solutions and can participate in defining good architecture
• You enjoy learning and digging into open source code, committing on other projects
• You can organize yourself well, and can work in an agile manner
• Good written communication in English is essential
• Previous experience working remotely and/or leading teams is a plus
• We are currently looking for applicants in European or US time zones (where the tech team currently is located) to allow for good communication, and minimal scheduling issues.
