The Role

We are seeking a Senior Frontend Engineer specializing in building exceptional user interfaces using React, Storybook, Electron, and Next.js. This role will focus on leading the development of our open-source UI component library (hyperplay-ui), ensuring it is scalable, accessible, and highly interactive, and integrating new UI components across our products.

You will work cross-functionally with UI/UX designers, product teams, and engineers to deliver a top-tier user experience. This is an opportunity to take ownership of a key initiative at HyperPlay and make a lasting impact on our product suite and the web3 gaming community.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the development and maintenance of the HyperPlay UI component library.

• Build responsive, scalable, and accessible interfaces using React, Next.js, Electron, Typescript, HTML, CSS, and SASS (SCSS).

• Collaborate closely with UI/UX designers, product managers, and other engineers to create high-quality, user-centric dapp interfaces.

• Take ownership of end-to-end frontend development, from prototyping to production
  deployment.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of professional experience as a frontend/UI engineer.

• Proven expertise in React, Next.js, Electron, Storybook, Typescript, HTML, CSS, and SCSS.

• Previou sexperience building interfaces for dapps.

• Strong understanding of web3 technologies and decentralized systems (blockchain, crypto).

• Familiarity with open-source development and the ability to manage and contribute to community-driven projects.

• Experience working in a fast-paced environment with cross-functional teams.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Strong communication skills, with a passion for knowledge sharing.
