Data Science and Analytics Team

Our Data Science and Analytics team specializes in deciphering complex blockchain and financial markets data, working closely with teams like GTM, Product Management, and Engineering to drive growth, monitor risk, and build innovative products and metrics. Harness your expertise in pattern recognition, trend analysis, and machine learning to design cutting-edge on-chain products and enhance existing blockchain oracle solutions. About the Role

You will be working on a huge array of blockchain financial and economic problems, from understanding the impact that gas has on product economics, to modelling out cross-chain token liquidity, to helping to evaluate capital investment ROI for new blockchain products. You will also be working closely with the teams responsible for product pricing, product parameterization and market sizing to help build the firsts first fully sustainable decentralized oracle network. This person's work will have a tremendous impact on how the Chainlink network grows sustainably.

Objectives of this Role

• Product Pricing models, parameter improvements and using data to understand product economics
• Creating models to evaluate blockchain product ROI and other financial projects
• Design and run simulations on the behavior of blockchain network participants, identifying utility functions and constraints

Skills and Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Economics or Finance
• A strong understanding of financial markets and/or crypto markets (preferably both)
• Strong financial modeling background, either through initiatives routed in economics or FP&A type work
• Experience solving economic and econometrics problems in a formal or practice environment
• Strong SQL experience is a must 
• Deep data analysis or data science experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong Economics fundamentals either through Masters level academics or multiple years of economics based roles
• Strong Python with PySpark
• Optimisation modeling experience
