Your mission

Your mission is to build a high-speed, high-quality in-house production system that transforms Daos into a visual-first brand. You’ll own the entire production flow - from strategy to execution - turning our events, community, and founders’ stories into compelling content that drives visibility, engagement, and growth across the Web3 ecosystem.

Impact Roadmap: What Your First 6 Months Will Look Like

\n

First 30 Days – Audit & Foundations
  • Audit current photo/video assets, processes, and external partners.
  • Map existing content needs across SMM, Events, and Growth.
  • Define technical baseline — equipment, tools, editing standards.
  • Build an internal production tracker (pipeline + calendar + status board).

First 60 Days – Build and Test the Machine
  • Deliver first batch of content pieces (video + photo + short form + podcast pilot).
  • Set weekly production cadence with SMM Lead and freelancers.
  • Onboard reliable freelance editors / videographers.
  • Create templates for shoot briefs, post-production checklists, and equipment requests.
  • Deliver first batch of content pieces (video + photo + short form + podcast pilot).

First 90 Days – Scale & Structure
  • Launch monthly content calendar aligned with SMM Lead’s strategy.
  • Implement budget tracking and freelancer evaluation system.
  • Set up a livestreaming process for events with full visual direction
  • Expand content production capacity through AI integration
  • Ensure mass production of content both for the project’s needs and for external clients on a turnkey basis
  • Set up a team: mobile videographers, corporate blog hosts, etc.

Impact in 6 month
  • Fully operational Daos hub studio producing regular high-quality content.
  • Standardized production framework ready for scale to multiple locations.
  • Clear content metrics dashboard co-owned with SMM Lead (time-to-publish, cost per asset, engagement lift).
  • Established network of trusted freelancers / studios for peak load support.

What You Will Do
  • Lead the full production lifecycle — from concept and planning to shooting, post-production, and delivery
  • Manage video and photo shoots across Daos events, community moments, and partner activations
  • Oversee editing, color grading, audio, and ensure final assets meet creative and brand standards
  • Work closely with the SMM Lead, Design, and Events teams to align content with campaign goals
  • Source, onboard, and manage a network of freelance talent and production agencies as needed
  • Maintain and optimize all production equipment, tools, and operational budgets
  • Build and manage a centralized, well-organized asset library (video, photo, podcast)
  • Track content performance and continuously improve creative outputs based on data and feedback
  • Develop repeatable workflows, templates, and production standards to ensure quality and scalability
  • Client briefing on turnkey content production and mass content creation using AI

What You Need to Have
  • Significant experience in video production (preference will be given to candidates with relevant experience in shooting events, online products, podcasts, music videos, and teasers)
  • Strong showreel with examples (conferences, music videos, branded content, short-form)
  • Proven experience in fast, high-volume content creation
  • Deep understanding of social media formats: Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts
  • Experience with conference/event shoots (livestream is a plus, can be trained)
  • Basic knowledge of podcast production: sound recording, editing, publishing
  • Strong project management skills: timelines, planning, budgeting
  • Confident in post-production supervision (editing, color, sound)
  • Experience working with freelance creatives and managing outsourced teams
  • Ability to prepare and communicate basic production budgets and scopes

Soft Skills
  • Ownership mindset — acts like a builder, not just executor
  • Fast, independent, solution-driven
  • Strong creative sense and visual taste
  • Comfortable working directly with founders and partners
  • Structured and detail-oriented
  • Team player — able to coordinate with cross-functional teams
