The mission of Trust Machines is to grow the Bitcoin economy. We’ve recently raised $150M to realize this vision, build Bitcoin apps, and the open-source technologies required to unleash the true potential of Bitcoin for DeFi and Decentralized Applications. Console is on a mission to help Web3 communities build, grow, and thrive. The Console app is a chat platform designed specifically for decentralized organizations — think Web3 Discord. At Console, we’re building a place for leaderless organizations to focus and take action. We are a remote friendly-company — with our headquarters with Trust Machines in New York and a strong commitment to ensuring people can do great work here and thrive without having to live near an office. This role is open to candidates across the U.S.

Briefly, about the role:

  • We're looking for a rockstar product designer to join our founding team.

Here’s what you’ll do:

  • Work closely with the team to design features that ship
  • Shape the Console app and be the champion of the user
  • Work closely with engineers to understand design specifications
  • Serve as a product design expert and incorporate user and audience feedback

What we're looking for:

  • You are an experienced full-stack designer. You’re comfortable with all aspects of design, and you design experiences where everything fits together.
  • You can zoom out to think about overall UX, or zoom in to create clean and simple buttons, list views, and animations.
  • You are a skilled visual designer, enjoy illustrating and love beautiful typography. You likely bring at least 4+ years of experience as a full-stack product designer.
  • You can take independent ownership of the design process and product initiatives
  • You are fluent in translating stakeholder goals, user research, and complex user flows into simple UIs
  • You are addicted to staying ahead of desktop and mobile best practices, developments and trends in web, mobile and iOS design
  • You’re motivated by feedback, and by the opportunity to improve in your role, in the work, and in how you work together as a team
  • You have a portfolio that reflects your strengths in both UX and visual design skills
  • You enjoy your work

Nice to haves:

  • You helped build Slack or similar 😊 (Or could have!)
  • Strong experience with collaborative design applications such as Figma
  • Ability to perform user testing as required

Why Console?

  • All-star founding team; experience founding 4 startups and 3 widely adopted consumer apps, one currently valued at over $3 billion
  • Fully funded and backed by Trust Machines, our parent company
  • Competitive comp package (salary + equity/token)
    • (Regardless of Location: $120,000 - $180,000)
  • Flexibility to work from anywhere
  • Console is a Trust Machines company.

What we offer:

  • Work from home
  • Competitive salary based on NYC comp (regardless of location, benchmarked annually)
  • Token incentives
  • Open Vacation Policy, take the days you need
  • Up to 16 weeks of paid parental leave
  • Your choice of technical setup and equipment
