About the Role

Own one of MetaMask’s most popular features: MetaMask Swaps (https://metamask.io/swaps) and MetaMask Bridge (https://metamask.io/bridge). Lead the end-to-end token conversion experience across all MetaMask platforms.

Swap and Bridge are the core features that enable users to navigate the web3 ecosystem; but today, the UX of getting to the right token on the right blockchain network is often painfully complex. As product manager for Swap and Bridge, you’ll optimize our existing revenue streams while defining an ambitious and compelling long-term vision: how Swap and Bridge can come together to enable users to transact on any network, with any token, in one click.

• MetaMask is the most trusted wallet in the Ethereum ecosystem with over 30 million monthly active users. 
• MetaMask Swaps is used by over 8 million users who have swapped $42B in volume since the product launched in Fall 2020.
• MetaMask Bridge allows users to safely and easily move tokens from one blockchain network to another. 900K users have used Bridge to move over $1B across chains since its launch in Fall 2022.
• The Swap and Bridge products make the best of DeFi even better, by combining data from DEX aggregators, market makers, and bridge providers, to ensure best price and execution. 

As Swap and Bridge lead, you will grow an existing team of engineers, data analysts, UX researchers, and designers, owning the entire Swap and Bridge consumer journeys on the MetaMask browser extension, mobile wallet, and Portfolio dapp.

MetaMask Swap and Bridge are highly technical and require a solid grasp of different blockchain primitives. Preference will be given to candidates who demonstrate technical proficiency. 

Responsibilities 

• Define vision, strategy, and roadmap, working closely with engineers, designers, analysts, data scientists, researchers. 
• Design and deliver products that advance the MetaMask mission.
• Research user problems and stay ahead of market developments in the Web3 ecosystem. 
• Drive adoption of crypto-first product features, working closely with various teams across the DeFi ecosystem.
• Shape and define standards for building great consumer products, educate our product teams, and hold the bar across the company. 
• Grow and lead the work of a cross functional team (user research, data analytics, technical writing, front end, and API developers) to be user focused, discovery led, and data driven as the consumer’s advocate. 

You may be a fit for this role if you have:

• A passion for crypto/DeFi and Fintech, open platforms, and equal financial opportunity. 
• 7+ years of product management experience. You have driven consumer products from discovery to launch; aligned teams and stakeholders on a shared vision tied to larger strategy; orchestrated cross-functional teams of analysts, designers, and engineers; facilitated user research or experiments to validate hypotheses; used metrics and feedback to drive development; shipped highly technical products in a fast moving environment. 
• 2+ years experience working in the Web3 space and familiarity with the DeFi ecosystem. You’ve used MetaMask, Ethereum, L2s, and dApps, and have a solid understanding of the underlying technologies.

Bonus Points For

• Experience building a decentralized swap or bridge product.
• Hands-on technical experience in smart contract and/or backend development
