Responsibilities:
- DB Migration Experience, High Availability DB HA Setup.
- Has very good knowledge around the Database environment and their current setup.
- Optimise running cost for cloud database environments such as aws rds, google cloud sql.
- Increase the weight of distributed cloud-native db (cockroach db) across all used db in production
- Responsible for the optimal design of database environments, analysing complex distributed production deployments, and making recommendations to optimize performance.
Requirements
- At least three years of experience working as postgres dba.
- Have experience of both cloud and on premises database
- Understand and is capable of basic Kubernetes operations
- Basic English skills
