Platform Engineering Manager

YOUR MISSION

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Platform Engineering Manager to spearhead our Platform division. Platform team is focusing on two major directions, custody and staking. Our tech stack is OpenStack, AWS, Kubernetes, Node.js, C/C++, Go, and Postgres. As Platform Engineering Manager, you will lead a team of DevOps engineers and play an instrumental role in driving results in our custody and staking infrastructure.

IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL:

• Spearhead the optimization of our hybrid infrastructure and ensure efficient use of cloud resources
• Foster speed and ownership through continuously enabling "you build it, you run it" operating model
• Collaborate across the organization and ensure smooth delivery and operations of our custody and staking digital solutions
• Ensure regulatory compliance and security in all contexts, support regular audit activities embodying industry best practices
• Guide, mentor, and provide direction to the DevOps team ensuring alignment with company objectives and milestones.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:

• Proficient understanding of DevOps tools and methodologies
• Expertise in managing bare-metal infrastructure, CI/CD, Monitoring & Observability tools, AWS, RDS, Docker, Kubernetes, OpenStack, Terraform, Git
• Experience in regulated industries, fintech or crypto is a strong plus
• Ability to lead a team of 5 DevOps engineers, fostering a culture of drive and result-orientation
• Strong focus on delivery and untangling complexities
• Sound knowledge of modern DevOps practices and approaches
• Ability to identify a problem, shape the solution, weigh-in the trade-offs, align the priorities, and drive the implementation
