Polygon Labs is a software development company building and developing a network of aggregated blockchains via the Agglayer, secured by Ethereum. As public infrastructure, the Agglayer will bring together user bases and liquidity for any connected chain, and leverage Ethereum as a settlement layer. At Polygon Labs, we're reimagining the future of work in web3—where decentralization meets high-performance teams. As our People Operations Specialist, you won’t just keep the machine running—you’ll analyze it, improve it, and help us scale intentionally.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of HR operations, data-driven decision-making, and emerging web3 compensation models including token-based structures.
You’ll help us translate raw people data into actionable insights, build scalable systems for compensation and performance, and play a central role in refining our token allocation strategies—ensuring we attract, reward, and retain world-class talent in the decentralized space.
Compensation Operations & Token Allocation: Partner with the People and Finance teams to operationalize token allocation frameworks, model equity/token vesting scenarios, and ensure compensation structures are competitive, compliant, and clearly communicated.
People Data & Analysis: Leverage data from our HRIS and other tools to produce dashboards, reports, and insights around headcount, turnover, DEI, engagement, and performance trends—informing strategic decisions across the organization.
Process Optimization: Continuously assess and refine workflows across the employee lifecycle—from onboarding to offboarding—to increase efficiency, reduce friction, and scale as we grow.
People Infrastructure: Maintain clean and organized HR systems, policies, and employee data. Ensure compliance and accuracy across contracts, records, and digital tools.
People Program Support: Collaborate cross-functionally on initiatives spanning performance management, engagement, DEI, and internal communications—infusing each with a data-informed mindset.
2+ years of experience in People Operations, Total Rewards, or People Analytics—preferably in a high-growth or web3 company.
Direct exposure to token-based compensation or web3-native reward structures.
Strong analytical skills—proficient in data visualization or HR metrics using Excel, Google Sheets, or BI tools.
Fluency in HRIS systems and digital workflow platforms (e.g., Deel, Gusto, Workday, BambooHR, Notion, Jira).
Exceptional attention to detail, documentation, and process-building ability.
Strong interpersonal skills—you can collaborate across cultures, time zones, and functions.
Self-starter mindset with the flexibility to adapt in a fast-moving, decentralized environment.
Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal).
Experience working in or around decentralized or blockchain-based teams is a major plus.
