What We're Doing
At Synctera, we're closing the gap between community banks and FinTechs. Empowering the fastest growing, secure, and scalable FinTech-as-a-Service (FaaS) platform, we tear down integration complexity and build bridges. There are too many FinTechs that need access to a sponsor bank and too few sponsor banks with which to partner, leading to a lack of pricing transparency and less than favorable pricing terms. We’re here to help change that by guiding all parties through the onboarding process and beyond.
We are looking for interesting, curious, wickedly smart people who are ready to jump in and run with our fast-growing team. If you want to have fun at work again, collaborate with some of the sharpest people in the industry, understand the Bank/FinTech ecosystem, and love to win, read on!
You will play a critical role in matching Synctera’s FinTechs with bank partners to help support their launch. As the Matching Partnership Operations Associate, your mission is to understand how to create the best match between your FinTech and bank customers. This will involve understanding FinTech go-live needs and partner-bank interests, and creating a match between FinTech and bank for a long-term partnership. You’ll work cross functionally to evaluate complex problems and use multiple inputs to determine the best matches for our FinTech programs. You will flex your program management and relationship management skills, balancing competing priorities and working closely with top partners to put the final touches on active deals. You’ll also be able to foresee issues that may arise, and proactively remove barriers.
Responsibilities:
- Understand the launch details of our top FinTech programs and evaluate the best bank matches to fit their needs
- Keep close tabs on what’s important to our bank ecosystem and what programs they’re capable of supporting
- Work with cross-functional stakeholders, including FinTech Sales, Bank Partnerships, Business Development, Finance, Legal, and Operations to manage the matching process
- Work with the Head of Bank Partnerships to create transparency with Banks regarding matches
- Manage the supply and demand dynamics of our FinTech-bank ecosystem
Qualifications:
- 6+ years of experience in program management, strategy and operations, or partnerships in a SaaS, FinTech, or banking institution
- Knowledge or experience in financial services products, solutions and processes
- Strong business acumen, organizational skills, and attention to detail
- Experience working in a highly cross-functional team
- Proven ability to collaborate and build relationships with customers and engage across corporate functions
- Experience creating complex process plans
