We are seeking individuals who are passionate about improving the developer experience. Remote-First:

We are a remote team located across Europe, the UK, and the Americas. Most of our work is done asynchronously, relying on written communication. We hire in the European and American time zones to ensure enough overlap between everyone.

Our Projects:

Immediate term

We’re making sure developers are properly equipped by directly addressing unmet needs through the creation and continued maintenance of developer products.

• Hardhat Our flagship project. An Ethereum SDK with a blockchain simulator with development features at its core.

• Hardhat for VSCode Our Visual Studio Code extension provides type-smart editing assistance for Solidity as well as Hardhat integrations.

• Hardhat Ignition Our deployment system for structuring, automating, and distributing smart contract deployment setups.

Long-term

We’re working to increase the availability of developer solutions so that teams can pick the best tools for their circumstance. We’re building low-level infrastructure components that make it easier for the ecosystem to build developer tooling.

• Slang A modular set of compiler APIs empowering the next generation of Solidity code analysis and developer tooling. Written in Rust and distributed in multiple languages.

• EDR A debugging-enabled Ethereum runtime implementation that can be reused to build new developer tools.
