Experience covering the sector or equities markets strongly preferred. You are a self-starter with an insatiable intellectual curiosity, a nose for news, and a can-do/collaborative attitude who can write clear, concise copy on tight deadlines.

  • Develop sources, break news and incorporate feedback from CoinDesk editors.
  • Learn to write concise, sophisticated pieces with a voice. The pieces will not only explain what happened but tell the reader why it matters and how it fits in with the overall picture.
  • When necessary, be able to tell stories in narrative form.
  • Focus on finding actionable trends to make our content as valuable to readers as possible.

WRITING

  • Write a steady stream of high-value breaking news posts each day.
  • Write or co-write market updates, working hand-in-glove with teams in other regions.

  • Liaise with the beat desks to ensure comprehensive news coverage.
