Founded in 2017, Anchorage Digital is a regulated crypto platform that provides institutions with integrated financial services and infrastructure solutions. With the first federally chartered crypto bank in the US, Anchorage Digital offers institutions an unparalleled combination of secure custody, regulatory compliance, product breadth, and client service. We’re looking to diversify our team with people who are humble, creative, and eager to learn. We are a remote friendly, global team, but provide the option of working in-office in San Francisco, New York City, Indianapolis, Sioux Falls, Porto, and Singapore. This role will support Bank-wide strategic, regulatory, and data-driven initiatives. You will support enterprise-wide business planning, program development, staffing, budgeting, and regulatory operations. To succeed in this role, one must be able to i) source, collect, aggregate, analyze and interpret data from independent data repositories; ii) quickly and accurately synthesize Bank operating model documentation and role-related materials supplied by teams across the Bank; iii) produce concise and compelling written and quantitative reports for internal and external Bank stakeholders; and iv) coordinate effectively cross-functionally at all levels in the organization.

As an Operations Associate, you will:

    • Source, collect, aggregate, analyze and interpret data from various independent data repositories.
    • Collaborate with technical and other teams to build and enhance operational tools and dashboards for operational management and data quality monitoring.
    • Draft and maintain detailed documentation on operational processes.
    • Coordinate multiple teams and systems to ensure alignment on critical operational processes.
    • Assist in root cause analysis and remediation of Bank issues.
    • Produce clear reports and presentations describing projects and results, interpreting them for senior management.

You may be a fit if you have:

    • 1-2 years of experience as a business analyst in strategy consulting, investment banking, venture capital, or similar fields.
    • Experience in writing, editing, or reviewing technical documents in the regulatory or banking space.
    • Proficiency with SQL programming and database operations.
    • Familiarity with programming languages such as Python or JavaScript.
    • Experience coordinating with diverse stakeholder groups.

Although not a requirement, bonus points if:

    • You have experience in a banking, regulatory, and/or startup environment.
    • You have experience coding or participating in the governance of digital assets.
    • You were emotionally moved by the musical Hamilton.
