About Phylax

Phylax Systems is a tech startup building a credible security protocol for decentralized applications (DApps) on L2 networks by actively censoring hacks on the underlying network.

We believe that the future of security is through open-source software and tools that enable users to share security practices, what we call open security. We take a different stance than most of our competitors, who build closed-source software.

We believe that security software can be open source, without needing "security through obscurity", by crafting protocols and pieces of software that are of sound design and thoughtfully implemented.

Our team solves one of the most challenging problems in Web3: Security.

The Phylax team's decision to work on hack prevention came directly from our own experience with a hack. Having experienced its devastating results, we knew that we needed to do something about it.

About the role

We are looking for our first Marketing hire to join our founding team and set the marketing standards. You will architect and communicate the Phylax story, driving our communication strategy across all platforms and spearheading the launch of our products. This role reports directly to the CEO.

Responsibilities

• Activate and expand Phylax’s strategic position and narrative in the market.

• Create and run a content production machine while collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to produce engaging and dynamic content (including shitposting).

• Work with designers and illustrators to further deepen our unique visual identity for Phylax and its marketing campaigns.

• Steer brand momentum through a comprehensive communications plan that effectively reaches our target audience. 

• Lead the GTM product marketing strategy for Phylax Products, focusing on impactful product positioning, launch strategy, and customer acquisition.

• Increase brand awareness on all Social Media platforms

• Nurture relationships with major relevant news outlets, podcasters, industry influencers and/or other mediums relevant to Plylax

About You

• Deep understanding of the crypto world

• Knack and intuition for X and Farcaster

• Experience growing a crypto brand from zero

• Strong shitposting culture

• You can deeply understand the Phylax Products
