What we are building

OpenGradient is building native on-chain AI inference, designed to deliver seamless and scalable inference secured by state-of-the-art cryptography. The OpenGradient Network is an EVM blockchain network that is a composable execution layer for on-chain AI. The network features access to scalable and secure model inference, allowing developers to seamlessly leverage AI models in composable smart contracts to create powerful decentralized applications and enable new use-cases.

About the role

As the Head of Marketing/Marketing Lead at OpenGradient, you will play a pivotal role in driving the marketing strategy and execution to accelerate the adoption of our native on-chain AI inference technology. You will develop and implement innovative marketing campaigns that showcase the capabilities of the OpenGradient Network and its potential to revolutionize decentralized applications. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive communication delivery strategy encompassing various mediums such as X, YouTube, web outlets, and portals, maximizing reach and engagement.

  • Lead campaign development and coordination across partner teams, driving targeted strategies and messaging across audiences and channels.

  • Execute and evolve a multi-channel growth marketing strategy that grows OpenGradient’s user acquisition.

  • Develop a strong strategic perspective on our product and crypto trends based on customer data, market research, and more.

  • Lead and manage all aspects of marketing, including branding, messaging, digital marketing, PR, and events.

  • Build and nurture relationships with key marketing professionals, community leaders, and potential partners across various marketing functions

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align marketing efforts with product development and business goals.

  • Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities.

  • Build and manage relationships with media, influencers, and partners.

  • Utilize analytics and data-driven insights to track performance metrics and optimize exposure.


Who you are

  • 3+ years of experience in a similar role within the marketing domain, preferably within the Web3, crypto, or blockchain sectors.

  • Experienced in measurement and analytics tools including Google Analytics, Mixpanel, Branch, and Looker.

  • Strong understanding of full funnel and unit economic marketing metrics.

  • Strong media relations skills, including pitching and building relationships with the press.

  • Ability to handle large volumes of data, conduct thorough analysis, and extract actionable insights to inform marketing decisions in the blockchain space.
