Junior Engineer

As a junior engineer, you will gain broad exposure to the various engineering units, including frontend and smart contract engineering. You will work with product designers to deliver an intuitive and delightful experience to our users who will have a range of experiences in the decentralized finance world. Our team is a tenacious, geeky, and optimistic group, working towards a decentralized financial future. You’ll be joining a highly technical team that values shipping beautiful, usable products to give people real control over their financial future.

You will be:

• Working closely with designers, other engineers, and product owners to scope and build fresh, delightful dApps that allow users to interact with smart contracts
• Writing and testing smart contracts on various network leading up to the main net, under the guidance of senior engineers
• Expanding on the work of other developers by diving into existing codebases to add features or fix bugs
• Writing code in a highly collaborative open-source ecosystem. Basic reviews of others’ contributions are expected with a focus on building a strong engineering foundation and growing your own technical expertise

Requirements:

• Good understanding of the architecture of modern client-side React applications
• Experience with writing well-written, tested, and highly maintainable code
• Preferred to have experience with the following technologies (in order of importance): React, Typescript, Ethers.js
• Experience with writing smart contracts is a huge plus
