iScale Solutions works with technology companies to effectively scale their development, support and operations processes.

Engineering department is expanding rapidly and we need additional build engineers to handle the development and release activities for our Bangalore and Manila based development teams. Our CI/CD pipeline is based on git and Jenkins and you work closely with both local and remote development teams to manage their branches and builds.

You report to the Engineering Services Manager based in San Mateo, California.

Our team is based in San Francisco and San Mateo, with growing teams in Bangalore, India and Manila, Philippines.

Responsibilities

● Manage release branches across multiple git repositories and handle merges across branches.

● Set up and manage CI/CD builds on Jenkins.

● Set up and manage AWS instances.

● Triage unit test failures and follow up with development teams to fix them in timely fashion.

● Work closely with development teams in 3 time zones.

● BS in CS with 3+ years of work experience.

● Experience in using git and managing the branch lifecycle.

● Managing CI/CD build infrastructure with Jenkins.

● Building Java code with Ant, Gradle and Maven.

● Building iOS and Android platforms using Cordova/Ionic.

● Scripting and automating with Bash, Python, Ruby, NodeJS.

● Great troubleshooting skills.

● Motivated, driven, and a dynamic team player.

● Clear communication (both verbal and written English) is a must.

● Experience with Salesforce CLI tools is a plus.
