Your mission

The Integrations Platform enables CoinTracker to ingest data from 100s of exchanges, blockchains and wallets. We have built the industry’s most advanced large-scale data ingestion system that achieves best-in-class accuracy, reliability and speed. This system is the heart of what enables CoinTracker to provide the highest quality product for crypto taxes, accounting and portfolio tracking. You will lead this team at CoinTracker.

Your one year outcomes

• Impact: Ensure and sustain 100% ingestion accuracy for key crypto integrations
• Scale: Team is able to proactively identify and address any gaps in integrations coverage or issues with ingestion

What you will do

• Lead, grow, motivate, and inspire the team of engineers responsible for the platform that enables CoinTracker to accurately synchronize crypto activity for a user
• Nurture and ensure a high level of engineering quality through well-structured APIs, reusable components, and well-tested, maintainable software
• Be opinionated in building the team's technical vision and play a primary role in technical decision making
• Drive the roadmap, strategic direction, and priorities for the team, and collaborate with other engineering teams across the company
• Envision and achieve a future state where the team can proactively identify and address gaps in crypto integrations

Role-specific

• 8+ years of software development experience as an IC
• 3+ years of engineering management experience, overseeing backend or full stack teams of 10 or more engineers
• Experience building strong technical teams that balance operational excellence, collaboration and user needs
• Experience collaborating with stakeholders and driving execution across team and organizational boundaries
• Experience creating, delivering, and operating highly reliable data ingestion systems at scale
• Experience managing remote and geographically distributed teams
