Head of Partnerships

Playground Labs is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Head of Partnerships to drive the execution of partnerships and strategic advisory services with web3 games, organizations, and ecosystem partners. As the Head of Partnerships, you will play a pivotal role in building relationships and providing strategic advisory services to clients. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record in driving growth within the gaming market and have a strong grasp of both traditional and blockchain-enabled game development. They will be an influential connector, adept at fostering relationships, proposing strategic advisory plans, and executing on organization-wide initiatives to drive growth or meet service deliverables for clients.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the formulation and implementation of comprehensive partnerships growth strategies.
• Build, manage, and maintain inbound and outbound partnerships pipeline.
• Establish and maintain strong, long-term relationships with our clients & investors.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to clients and investors, understanding their unique business goals and challenges, and providing strategic recommendations.
• Deliver data-driven insights and recommendations to optimize business performance and enhance customer acquisition and retention strategies.
• Create advisory proposals and collaborate with internal teams to align deliverables with clients’ overall business objectives.
• Continuously enhance the company’s industry knowledge and keep up with the latest trends and innovations in related fields.
  

Qualifications:

• 5+ years’ experience in growth management, client relationship management, or strategic consulting roles.
• Deep understanding of both traditional and blockchain-enabled gaming markets, including venture equity and token models.
• Strong business acumen and a deep understanding of growth strategies, customer acquisition, retention techniques, and market dynamics.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence key stakeholders at all levels.
• Experience in delivering high-level presentations and engaging with C-suite executives.
• Analytical mindset with a proficiency in data analysis and interpretation.
• Strong sense of ownership and initiative to identify and pursue growth opportunities.
• Initiative and bias for self-motivation, early action, on-time delivery, and overall operational excellence
• Fluency in business-level English

Compensation In accordance with NY, CO, CA, and WA law, Playground Lab's provides a reasonable estimate of the base compensation for this role. The compensation for this position in the above listed locations consists of a salary package in the range of $100,000-150,000 alongside awarded tokens for the projects in which they participate. The actual base salary will be determined on an individual basis considering a number of factors including, but not limited to, experience, education, relevant certifications, skills, and geographic location.
