What will you be doing: Communication and marketing strategy:
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy to drive user acquisition, trading volumes, and customer retention.
  • Identify and leverage appropriate communication channels, including social media, industry forums, blogs, newsletters, and media outlets.
  • Collaborate with the leadership and cross-functional teams to align marketing efforts with business objectives and growth targets..
  • Draft emails and handle direct communication with customers on various topics.
  • Review and maintain consistency in all communication channels, including support articles, blogs, and other written content.
Brand Management:
  • Define and cultivate the brand identity and positioning within the crypto market.
  • Develop brand guidelines, ensuring consistent visual and verbal brand representation.
  • Oversee and create the creation and maintenance of marketing collateral, including website content, whitepapers, press releases, and presentations.
  • Pay meticulous attention to detail to ensure error-free and high-quality communications.
  • Set and uphold a standard of excellence for all customer communications.
  • Take full responsibility for the quality and accuracy of the companys messaging.
Content creation and marketing campaigns:
  • Plan and execute marketing campaigns to drive customer acquisition, engagement, and retention.
  • Produce engaging and informative content, including articles, blogs, videos, and social media posts, to educate and engage the crypto community.
Public relations:
  • Establish and maintain relationships with media outlets, journalists, and industry influencers to secure media coverage and thought leadership opportunities.
  • Prepare and distribute press releases and manage media inquiries effectively.
  • Monitor industry trends and news to identify PR opportunities and potential risks.
  • Oversee community engagement efforts to build a strong, loyal user community around the exchange.
Manage marketing budgets and costs:
  • Establish marketing budgets based on the company objectives and the developed digital marketing strategy.
  • Ensure campaigns and projects are kept within scope and that spend is being correctly distributed based on the objectives of each campaign/project.
Analytics, reporting and regulatory compliance:
  • Utilise data analytics tools to measure and track the effectiveness of communication and marketing initiatives.
  • Provide regular reports and insights to the leadership team, highlighting key performance indicators, trends, and recommendations for improvement.
  • Ensure that all marketing activities comply with relevant regulations and legal requirements in the crypto industry.
What we look for in you: Skills relevant to the job include the education and/or experience, specialised training, and competencies required:
  • Bachelors degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in the crypto, fintech or blockchain industry.
  • Strong knowledge of the cryptocurrency market, including blockchain technology, trends, and regulatory landscape.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to create engaging content and deliver compelling presentations.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing successful marketing and communication strategies.
  • Familiarity with digital marketing tools, analytics platforms, and SEO principles.
  • Strong project management skills, including the ability to execute on marketing strategies effectively.
  • Attention to detail is vital in this role.
Technical/Core competencies required:
  • Digital brand strategy development knowledge.
  • Ability to interpret analytics and apply research to make informed decisions.
  • Crypto insights and knowledge of the crypto industry.
  • Copywriting and proofreading experience.
  • Script writing.
