Head of Global Events

As the Head of Global Events at QuickNode, you will develop and execute our global events strategy in order to propel QuickNode to the forefront of every web3, developer-centric and technology conference worldwide, and achieve our ambitious end-of-year revenue goals. You will be responsible for creating an event ROI framework for your team and ideating on new event concepts fully incubated within QuickNode. The position requires a highly creative events professional with diversified experience in webinars, conference management, custom events, virtual experiences, and sponsorships and is able to build a team of event coordinators to bring the global events strategy to life. We’re looking for a self-starter who is a strong communicator, with a deep sense of ownership and a team mentality, to collaborate on making sure QuickNode is the name that everyone knows and is talking about at every conference where people are building on Web3. You’ll be working across departments, including directly with the leadership and marketing team.

Responsibilities:

• Event Management - Own the strategy, roadmap and execution for all physical and virtual events, including major 3rd Party and partner conferences, regional web3 events, company meetings, hackathons and internally incubated First Party events
• Brand Awareness - Increase awareness for our brand and services to influence revenue goal. Identify the most effective marketing channels to promote our participation and presence for all events and experiences. Find new ideas, ways and partners to develop company presence in the web3industry.
• Team Management - Recruit, manage and develop a high performing, events team globally to support our customer base and attract the new web3 ecosystem globally. Build a cohesive team by building and maintaining internal and external relationships to create quality work which support direct efforts to successfully execute events
• Cross-functional Management - Align with cross-functional marketing teams to ensure proper messaging, timing, and execution of the plan and support of specific campaigns. Provide ongoing reporting for all events campaign roadmaps, performance, insights, and optimization. Apply experimentation and data-driven mindset to event strategy to test, learn, and optimize

Requirements

• 7+ years managing a $M global budget for third party and internal event strategy at a technology company serving developers, other technology companies and large enterprises
• 5+ years of leadership experience, building and managing high-performing marketing teams
• Experience ideating and testing new growth-hacking event concepts
• Hands-on experience with virtual platforms and exhibit houses
• Track record of delivering against aggressive pipeline and ROI targets
• Excellent communication skills to work cross-functionally with Marketing, Developer Relations, Ecosystem and Leadership teams
• Passion towards crypto/blockchain industry
