To scale the Nexus zkVM, we’re building the Nexus Network: an attempt to build the world’s most computationally powerful computing system. The Nexus Network is designed to compute trillions of proofs per second, by parallelizing proof generation across a global network of volunteer compute: a planetary-scale verifiable supercomputer.

Our team consists of some of the world's top scientists, mathematicians, and engineers. We work together with one goal: to prove all of humanity's computations, and bring about a new verifiable Internet.

Job Description:

Nexus is seeking a Head of Ecosystem Marketing to join our Brand team. You will play a critical role in building out our marketing function, with an emphasis on social media, content creation, community building and events. This position is ideal for people with a builder’s mentality, who thrive on going from 0 to 1, solving problems and getting things done.

We are headquartered at the Salesforce Tower in San Francisco, and this role will be in-person, with the rest of the Nexus team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain and lead execution of our marketing roadmap

• Manage and create content for Nexus social channels

• Build and engage our developer community

• Own our events strategy and our presence at industry events

• Drive advertising and viral campaigns

• Own website content and site updates

• Own product storytelling, including the creation of educational materials

• Contribute to messaging development and audience definition

• Lead creation of materials for sales and business development

Qualifications:

• At least 5 years of experience in a similar role

• Proven track record of building online communities and creating compelling social content

• Successful track record of tenures with early stage startups

• Familiarity with Web3 marketing and the blockchain space

• Strong problem-solving skills and an eagerness to roll up your sleeves and get things done

• Ability to work from our San Francisco office
