Valence is building native on-chain AI inference, designed to deliver seamless and scalable inference secured by state-of-the-art cryptography. The Valence Network is an EVM blockchain network that is a composable execution layer for on-chain AI. The network features access to scalable and secure model inference, allowing developers to seamlessly leverage AI models in composable smart contracts to create powerful decentralized applications and enable new use-cases.

The Role

We are seeking a self-driven and motivated Growth Engineer to join Valence and help us accelerate the adoption of our technology. You will be responsible for leading the integration of our cutting-edge AI infrastructure with partner applications, protocols and developers. This is a highly open-ended role where you will have the autonomy to define your and the company’s success by helping bring new and existing applications to Valence, building SDKs, integrations and libraries to attract developers and category-defining use-cases enabled through the use of AI.

• Support partners throughout the entire lifecycle, including scoping, design, development and deployment

• Provide technical support for developers building on Valence, developing SDKs or libraries tailored to their use-cases

• Extend and maintain comprehensive documentation of our platform and SDKs

• Collaborate with product, engineering and research to deliver robust solutions to our customers and drive Valence’s product direction

• Build tutorials or MVPs to showcase capabilities and new web3 use-cases unlocked by Valence

Qualifications

• Expertise in blockchain technology and applications such as DeFi, GameFi and SocialFi

• Deep understanding of the web3 landscape, including L1/L2s, protocols, bridges and cross-chain technologies

• Familiarity with web3 development tools such as Foundry, web3.js, Ethers

• 2-3 years of experience in Software Engineering

• Fluent in languages such as Python, Java, Go

• Hands-on experience with smart contract development including Solidity

• Very strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Eager to learn and stay up to date with latest web3 developments

• Entrepreneurial and curious mindset

Nice to have

• Previous experience as Growth or Developer Relations Engineer

• Built and deployed successful dApps

• Contributed or maintained open-source projects

• Experience in forward-deployed engineering role

• Interest in AI and ML applications
