General Manager, Fiat Products

About the Role

Zero Hash is seeking an experienced leader to join as General Manager, Fiat Products. This is a leadership role responsible for developing and managing the strategic vision of how we venture into traditional payment services for our platforms and building a team to execute. The ideal candidates combines a deep understanding of the traditional payment and banking sector with the entrepreneurial spirit necessary for innovation in the crypto space. The candidate will translate a strategy into longer-term roadmaps, have excellent project management skills, is a problem solver, an excellent communicator, a leader, and is driven to optimize. You should have experience leading agile development efforts in a high-growth company or an emerging category. Responsibilities

• Formulate and implement a strategic vision for Zero Hash's Fiat Products, identifying opportunities for business growth and expansion.
• Build, manage, and mentor a top-tier, cross-functional team, dedicated to the development and delivery of Fiat Products.
• Build and maintain relationships with key partners and vendors, leveraging these relationships to enhance the delivery of Fiat Products.
• Work closely with the executive team to align the Fiat Product strategy with the broader company objectives.
• Foster cross-functional collaboration with Engineering, Operations, Legal, Marketing, and Sales to ensure successful product development and launch.
• Represent Zero Hash in industry forums and thought leadership events, championing our Fiat Products and expanding our industry presence.
• Instill strong project management fundamentals for teams you manage to foster efficiency in our global, remote workforce.

Requirements

• Minimum of 10-12 years of experience in product management or a P&L owner within payments, crypto, and/or fintech. 5+ years leading teams.
• Extensive knowledge of traditional banking and payment products, such as ACH, demand-deposit accounts, APM’s, etc.
• Relevant experience in risk management, fraud, chargebacks, and compliance in the payments space.
• Proven ability to develop product and marketing strategies and effectively communicate recommendations to executive management.
• Ability to understand and discuss technical concepts with engineering teams
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to distill complex ideas into clear, concise, and actionable tasks.
• Demonstrated expertise in project management methodologies and tools, particularly Jira
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills – you can string together a SQL query
• Comprehensive understanding of regulatory requirements in the financial sector.

Preferred

• P&L Owner responsible for managing cross-functional teams
• Experience establishing a payments platform for a fintech and/or crypto platform.
• Experience in a fast-paced startup environment
