Requirements:
-
Experience as a Game Mathematician or similar position; -
Experience working with the economics in web2/web3 game or gambling projects; -
BS or BA in Math, Statistics, Physics, Computer Science, or a related field; -
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and similar tools; -
Understanding of basic player behavior patterns and gameplay loops and cycles; -
Strong analytics skills.
Responsibilities: -
Develop and maintain mathematical models for web3 game projects; -
Analyze game data to identify trends and areas for improvement; -
Adjust game mechanics to maintain balance and engagement; -
Collaborate with other departments to integrate innovative economic solutions.
Nice to have: -
Experience with gambling or web3; -
Good knowledge of web3 technologies, mostly about NFTs, Staking, L1 and L2s, Pooling, and other basic DeFi concepts; -
Experience with the Machinations (https://machinations.io/) for visualizing calculations, etc.
