Job Description
Position: Full-Stack Engineer (emphasis on front-end)
Location: 100% Remote
Are looking for a rewarding, exciting and demanding role in a rapidly growing startup?
BlockSpaces (blockspaces.io) is looking for a Full-Stack Engineer to be part of our enterprise-grade lightning application that connects businesses accounting software (QuickBooks + more in the future) to the Lightning Network.
An ideal candidate would have a strong passion for Bitcoin and a desire to make using Bitcoin cheap, fast, and simple for everyone.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Work closely with a team of dedicated engineers to bridge the gap between the lightning network and traditional businesses.
- Build, test, and ship enterprise-grade software for the Lightning Connect Platform
- Keep up to date with the latest developments in Lightning and applying them to our product
- Build and maintain our Nest.js API
- Integrate Lightning payments rails with traditional accounting software
- Build a component library for use in the application
Must Have Qualifications
- Strong experience in Typescript, Nest.js, React, CSS (styled-components)
- Interest in learning the details of our customers’ business operations
- The ability to adapt and adjust plans with changing circumstances
- Experience in building Lightning applications or contributing to Lightning open-source software
- Comfortable building interfaces from design files
- Creative ambition to build/design
- Excellent verbal communication skills.
- Good problem-solving skills.
