The Role

Seal is looking for its founding front-end engineer to design and develop UI/UX. We want someone who is willing to make Seal a leader not just in web3, but across consumer web. You will be responsible for designing and creating apps that will onboard normies, AKA non-technical users, onto crypto. Everything you make should be simplistic and easy enough such that your mom would know what to do. Backend expertise is advantageous, but it is not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain our mobile and web apps

• Work closely with the founding team to design user journeys that meets the needs of our customers

• Help build and scale our team

Minimum Requirements:

• Proficient in React (Typescript) with 2+ years of experience; skilled in HTML and CSS.

• Familiar with Chakra, Tailwind, or similar frameworks

• Strong design skills; responsible for design decisions due to the absence of an in-house designer

• Fluent in test automation and continuous integration

• Open to backend tasks; no prior experience required

• Excellent oral and written communication skills for daily customer interactions

• Supremely curious

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in building high quality mobile applications

• Experience at a fast-pace startup

• Familiarity with Web3 stack
